I CAN'T BELIEVE CHRISTMAS IS HERE! It is the best time of year and I am so excited to decorate. Christmas mantel decorations are my favorite. I am going to show you how to decorate on a budget. All of these items are from Target and everything is from the dollar post except the pine and pom pom garland. Their dollar spot has everything you need to decorate your mantel for Christmas.
Also, if you want to learn more about our family- check out this post and come say hello!

Christmas Mantel Decor
When decorating mantels, always start with a good garland. I bought our garland from Target and it is Hearth & Hand. I am obsessed to say the least. It is a faux pine garland with white berries throughout. It is full and fills the entire mantel.
When you are picking out garland, make sure it is thick and full so it fills your mantel. Here is another option from Target that I LOVE. This garland is a darker green and has red berries in it. This is another option from Amazon, its a more traditional garland that is pre-lit. Target is the place to go for all things Christmas mantel decorations.

Christmas Mantel Decorating Ideas
After I set up the garland I added a few small Christmas trees on the corners of our mantel to add some height. I grabbed these from the Target dollar spot but here are a few budget friendly options.
This is a pack of two white trees that are really pretty and about 6 inches tall. You could layer these with another pack. Here is a green, tinsel, 12 in tree. This tree is a thin, whimsical tree that would be great for layering. You could also layer with this dark green, flocked, 6 in set.
If you do not have TV about your mantel, add as many trees as you want to give your mantel a full and layered look.

Fireplace Mantel Christmas Decor
After the Christmas trees, I added a fun garland. Here are few small banners that I love! Here is a green, white and red pom pom option (featured below). I love the fun, pop of color it gives! I also love this white and natural wood garland. It is perfect for a white, wintery feel. If you want a classic, fun feel- you can go with this Christmas light garland.
Whatever garland you choose, make sure you choose something that compliments what you already have on the mantel. It shouldn't steal the show, but just add a little special touch.

I love Christmas so much and I especially love decorating our mantel. I hope this gives you some Christmas ideas for your mantel.
Adventure starts now,
Mas & Liz
